It is a condition caused by Salmonella typhiumurium var. Copenhagen.

A disease that is difficult to eradicate. The bacterium is able to survive in lofts for a long time. This is because the germs can stay alive for a long time in the loft, but also because some of the pigeons can be carrier hosts without clinical symptoms.
